1. How do I know which resistance/weight I should be doing?

We recommend you start light and work your way up. This may initially involve some adjustments.

2. What should I do if the gym lacks the necessary equipment?

We have tailored all sessions for standard gym facilities. Unfortunately, not all gyms cater for this. You can either improvise or alternatively move on to the next exercise.

3. What rest period shall I take in between sets?

The app has an automatic break duration of 1 minute, as this is what we recommend.

4. What is the purpose of ‘Stages’?

Each stage is designed to progressively challenge you and keep things interesting. When beginning a new programme, you should always start at stage 1. Focus on each stage for up to 12 weeks before moving on to the next stage. Complete each session on a weekly basis until ending your 12-week training period. Once completed, it’s time to move on to Stage 2, repeating this process until you have completed all stages.

5. How do I know when it’s time to move up a level? (Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced)?

Once all stages are complete, you should be ready to move up a level. If you find the next level too challenging, we suggest you stick with your current level for a longer period of time.

6. How do I keep track of my workouts?

To refer back to your workout history, find this at the bottom of your home page.

7. Can I repeat the same workout consecutively?

Yes you can, but we recommend you to move on to the next session to optimise your progress.

8. How many weeks should I stay on each stage?

We recommend you to stay on each Stage for up to 12 weeks, with a minimum time of 6 weeks.

9. Can I alternate different training categories each week?

If you are looking for more variation and would like to combine different categories, then yes!

10. Am I able to log my selected choice of weights?

Unfortunately not at the moment, but we are in the process of addressing this so keep an eye out for updates.

11. What if I get injured doing an exercise?

The exercises are solely a demonstration representing a correct, safe technique, attached to teaching points that enable you to replicate the exercises. We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur. However to prevent any potential injuries, we advise you to speak to a fitness instructor in the gym who may be able to assist you.

12. Will an injury restrict me from doing any of these exercises?

Please consult with a doctor or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness activities should you have concerns.

13. How do I change my personal information on the App?

You can access your personal information by clicking on your name at the top of the home page. You can edit your personal information by clicking on the pencil at the right-hand side of each section. Choose your preferred option and click save.

14. How do I add / change my profile picture?

Next to your name on the home page, you can add a profile picture at the top left corner by clicking the camera surrounded by a circle. Choose an image from your library. To change the image, simply click on your current profile picture and add your new picture.

15. Am I able to use the Unique Fit App without internet?

Unfortunately not, you will need internet in order to access the app.

16. How would I know which category to choose?

Each category comes with an info button, which will guide you to the right style of training that fits your needs.

17. Why are ‘TRX’ and ‘Ab Blast’ different from the other categories?

These categories are simply to blend within your workouts or as an addition to your weekly training schedule.

18. What can I do if the workout is too long?

Aim to complete all the exercises. Simply reduce the amount of sets to fit your time frame.

19. When does my subscription expire?

Your subscription is automatically renewed. If you wish to cancel it, please follow the instruction on the section: ‘How do I unsubscribe from the App’.

20. How to I unsubscribe from the App?

Open the App Store app and tap your profile icon in the upper right corner. At your account page, tap Subscriptions, then select the active subscription you want to cancel.\nTap the Cancel Subscription link and confirm.
